Pois, é agora, quase nos meus "thirty's", que eu faço parte do fã clube da banda em Portugal, tenho planos para ir ao Wembley e tenho coragem para dizer:" Jon, you son of a bitch, I LOVE YOU!!!".
(Não digam na da ao meu namorado... LOL)
LOL
You Were There
Through the loneliness of the years
And the battle against countless fears
You were there
Through the pain of delusional thoughts
And the constant threat of the “nots”
You were there
Through all the lonesome nights
And the sorrow of lost fights
You were there
Through the struggle against dream extinction
And the need for the right direction
You were there
You were there all the time
With no need for a sign
You were there through the pain
Bringing me out of the rain
You were there in the good days
Taking me where a dream lays
I know now what they say is true
I can always count on you
When happiness knocked on my door
And my feet rose above the floor
You were there
When sweet fate let me hold the keys
And snow wouldn’t bring me to my knees
You were there
When euphoria showed it’s face to me
And my wishes floated in a generous sea
You were there
When my lips were lighted with smiles
And my life was flying easy miles
You were there
You were there all the time
With no need for a sign
You were there through the pain
Bringing me out of the rain
You were there in the good days
Taking me where a dream lays
I know now what they say is true
I can always count on you
You brought me up when I was down
You made my body dance around
You put some faith where there was none
You were my friends through the darkened sun
You were there all the time
With no need for a sign
You were there through the pain
Bringing me out of the rain
You were there in the good days
Taking me where a dream lays
I know now what they say is true
I can always count on you
In all the years and miles between us
And even when I couldn’t see
You always had the right chorus
And there were times you were everything to me
You were there
No questions asked
So if I ever forget to tell you
Or fate denies me the chance
I want you to know I believe you
And the future is more than a verb tense
Loving you wasn’t a choice
But your words make my dreams last
Just keep on rockin’, boys
‘Cause you’re the best
You were there all the time
With no need for a sign
You were there through the pain
Bringing me out of the rain
You were there in the good days
Taking me where a dream lays
I know now what they say is true
I can always count on you
